GETTING STARTED
Service area ZIP codes
How the agent decides whether a caller is inside your service area.
You tell the agent where you work with a list of ZIP codes. When a caller gives their ZIP, the agent checks it against your list. This is a lookup, not a guess.
Set it up
- Open Settings, then Service area (or setup step 4).
- In ZIP codes (comma or space separated), list every five-digit ZIP you serve.
- Optionally, add a Note for callers, such as a short description of your area.
- Press Save changes.
What callers get
- A ZIP on your list: the agent carries on with booking.
- A ZIP that is not on your list: the agent politely says it is outside your service area, and offers to take a message.
ZIPs must match exactly. A ZIP you forgot to list will be treated as outside your area, so check the list against your real coverage. Setting at least one ZIP is also required before you can go live.
Common questions
Can I set a radius instead of ZIP codes?
No. Service area is a list of five-digit ZIP codes. The optional note is shown to callers but does not decide who is in or out.
