CHANGELOG

What changed, newest first.

Each date is the day the work was committed to our codebase. We are early, so this list is short and still growing.

October 2026

  1. Design

A new look across the site

The marketing site, sign-in and quote pages moved to a new design: warm paper background, one orange accent and larger tap targets.

    • Focus rings on every control and reduced-motion support.
    • The dark theme is for the client portal and staff tools. The public site is light only.
  2. Portal

A phone-first portal: Inbox, Calls, Visits, More

The client portal was rebuilt around what an owner does on a phone. The Inbox opens on Needs you, with emergencies pinned first.

    • Emergencies show as a red card with the word EMERGENCY, a Call back button and Mark handled.
    • Calls per day for the last 30 days, plus Closed today and Pause agent switches.
    • Setup is an 11-step checklist with a time estimate for each step.
    • Settings lists each setting with its current value. Each row opens the same form used in setup.
  3. Messages

    Clearer emails and text messages

Call summary, emergency alert, message, quote, invoice and payment-failed emails were redesigned. Booking and reminder texts were reworded to name the business first and carry opt-out language.

    • Reminder texts now say how to change the visit.
    • Emails have plain-text versions.
  4. Developers

    Public API and signed webhooks

Account owners can create API keys and read their calls, appointments, messages and business profile. Webhooks tell your own systems when a call completes, a job is booked or cancelled, or an emergency is flagged.

    • Keys are shown once, stored hashed and can be revoked. 120 requests per minute per key.
    • Webhook deliveries are signed (HMAC-SHA256) and retried with backoff. Endpoints must be public HTTPS.
    • A referral partner program with attribution and commission reporting, managed by our staff. There is no partner portal yet.
  5. Integrations

    Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar and availability respects your existing schedule. Bookings are added as events and kept in sync when a visit is rescheduled or cancelled.

    • Your busy time is checked live on every booking. If Google is unreachable, the agent offers a message instead of guessing.
  6. Messages

    Text confirmations and reminders

Callers who give their number can get a booking confirmation and one reminder by text, from your own number. STOP, START and HELP replies are handled automatically.

    • Texting is off by default and is switched on per account once US carrier registration is approved.
  7. Voice

Plumbing, electrical and roofing, plus find, cancel and reschedule

Agents can answer for plumbers, electricians and roofers, with emergency scripts for each trade. Callers can ask the agent to find, cancel or reschedule their own appointment.

    • These actions only work for the caller's own appointment, matched on caller ID and name.
    • Spanish emergency scripts exist as drafts. They need native-speaker review before a paying account should turn them on.
  8. Billing

    Quotes, invoices and payment reminders

Our team builds quotes from a price book, you accept online, and invoices are generated each month from your plan and any extra minutes. Failed payments trigger reminder emails.

    • If an invoice is still unpaid 21 days after its due date, the agent stops answering calls. You get warnings first.
  9. Portal

The client portal and call summary emails

The first version of the portal: calls with transcripts, appointments, messages and settings. After each call, the account owners get a summary by email.

  10. Voice

The voice core: answer, check availability, book, take a message

The agent answers forwarded calls, looks up your hours, service area and availability from your records, books jobs through checks done in code, takes messages and transfers to a person. Emergencies read a fixed safety script and alert your on-call person.

    • Hours, closures, prices and open slots come from your data. The model never decides them.
    • Local number search and provisioning through Telnyx.
    • If every line is busy, the caller waits briefly, then hears that all lines are busy, and the call is logged as missed.
