GETTING STARTED

Setting hours and closures

Weekly hours, holiday closures, what happens after hours, and the Closed today switch.

The agent only offers appointment times inside your hours, and it never offers a day you have closed. Hours and closures live in setup step 3, and afterwards under Settings, then Hours & closures.

Weekly hours

  • Each day, Monday to Sunday, has an opens time and a closes time.
  • Press Add hours to open a day that is closed, or Mark closed to close a day.
  • Press Save changes at the bottom.

Closures

In Closures, add one per line: the date as year-month-day, then a reason. For example, a line reading 2026-12-25 Christmas Day. The agent will tell callers you are closed that day and why.

After hours

The After hours setting decides what a caller gets outside your hours:

  • Book next open day. The agent offers times on your next open day.
  • Emergencies only. The agent handles emergencies and does not book.
  • Take a message. The agent takes a message for you to return.

Emergency handling is its own setting and does not depend on your hours. See On-call number and emergencies.

Closed today

For a day off you did not plan, use the Closed today switch on the Inbox, or under More. Callers hear that you are closed and can leave a message. It applies to today only, in your time zone.

Time zone

Hours are read in your business time zone. Check it under Settings, then Business basics, then Time zone. A wrong time zone shifts every time the agent offers.

Common questions

The agent offered a time when I am closed. Why?

Check the time zone under Business basics, and that your hours and closures were saved. Then use Test call to try again.

Where do buffers between jobs go?

Under Settings, then Booking rules: slot length, buffer between jobs, minimum notice, and how many days ahead callers can book.
