PRIVACY

Privacy, AI disclosure and recordings

What the agent tells callers about being an AI, how recording notices work, and how long data is kept.

Being honest about being an AI

Under Settings, then Voice & persona, you choose what happens if a caller asks "are you a robot?":

  • Only when asked. The agent answers honestly if the caller asks.
  • Always say so in the greeting. The greeting itself says the agent is the AI assistant.

Either way, the agent never claims to be a person when asked.

Recording notices

The Play a recording notice switch, also under Voice & persona, plays a notice at the start of every call. Some states require every party to consent to a recording, so if recording is on for your account, leave the notice on.

Call recording is off unless it is enabled for your account. Ask us if you want it.

How long data is kept

Our defaults are one year for transcripts and 90 days for recordings, configurable per client. Automatic deletion at those limits is not built yet. If you need data removed, contact us.

What we keep out of logs

Phone numbers are masked in our logs. Transcripts are stored in the database and not written to logs. More on the Security page.

Our legal pages are drafts that are still pending legal review: AI & recording disclosure and Privacy policy.

Common questions

Does the agent take card numbers over the phone?

No. It never collects card numbers by voice. Invoices are paid on a separate secure payment page.

Who can see my call transcripts?

People on your account can see them in the portal. Our staff can view an account only through an audited, time-limited impersonation.
